Adrian Geralnik is a Barcelona based food stylist and photographer with an extensive portfolio of both editorial and advertising and personal artistic projects.

Iktomi was approached to create a visual identity that would flexibly encompass both his commercial work and his more artistic endeavours.

 

Concept

“Only the poet can look beyond the detail
and see the whole picture.”

We developed logo that would anchor the identity around a typographical play of the artist’s name. By itself the logo could be used for the more commercial projects in a simple and direct way.

For his artistic projects however, this logo would then be supported by abstract imagery selected and formed from details from his photography. This stark contrast between a minimalistic logotype and the evocative and mysterious background imagery commands attention in a very distinct manner.
